Shipping & Delivery

Our Standard Delivery Charge is based upon the region your delivery address falls into. An accurate delivery charge for your package will be calculated using your delivery address postcode upon checkout.

The Standard Delivery Charge is applicable to the majority of the Mainland of the United Kingdom (UK), the Republic of Ireland (ROI) and Northern Ireland and will not exceed £5.99 +VAT. Orders worth over £50.00 (excluding VAT) will be eligible for free delivery to Mainland UK, ROI and NI postcodes.

Highland & Islands and Other UK

Highlands and Islands and other peripheral postcodes may incur an Additional Delivery Surcharge and this will be clarified at our checkout in accordance to the postcode of your delivery address.

As an indication the following postal areas are likely to incur an Additional Delivery Surcharge of:

A number of postcodes are also restricted to parcels with a maximum volumetric size of:

• Length x Height x Width < 3m³

Therefore certain larger products may not be available for delivery to some postcodes. This will be flagged up at our checkout.

Delivery Service

Dates and times for delivery are estimates only and are not guaranteed. They are also subject to any matter beyond our reasonable control. As a general rule, we will endeavour to dispatch your order within five working days of the date of the order; UK and Ireland only and subject to the goods being in stock.

All of our parcels require a signature on delivery. Our delivery service providers will on occasion and at their discretion leave a parcel in a special place. Please enter details in the ‘Order Notes’ section upon check-out. If the delivery service decide not to leave the parcel they will return the parcel to the depot and leave a card notification so your parcel can be picked up. If the parcel is not collected the depot will return the goods to Fane Valley Stores and the cost to re-send the goods again must be borne by the customer.

Volumetric Surcharges

Items that are bulky, being over 3m³ by volumetric size, or heavy will also incur a Delivery Surcharge. This will be applicable to the first single item and then on each additional number of that item ordered. This allows us to offer products on our website which normally would be uneconomical to sell due to carrier surcharges.

These surcharges are applicable irrespective of order value and vary according to item. This surcharge will be detailed on any relevant product and will be clarified at the checkout.

Orders Outside of the UK and Ireland

Delivery charges quoted are for UK and Ireland ONLY.

At the checkout we will provide you with a very general guide to the cost of shipping your parcel. Actual Shipping may be more than this. Once your order has been submitted we will contact you by email with a full and accurate price to ship your parcel. At this point you can then choose to accept or cancel your order. No additional monies will be deducted from your card until this confirmation has been received.

If we do not receive a reply within 10 working days of our email we will presume you do not wish to proceed any further and we will cancel your order and void any payment.

NB. Fane Valley takes no responsibility for any customs charges payable on imports into your country.

Customers outside of the UK but from Ireland or Europe will need to enter their valid VAT number, to have VAT removed from their sale. If an incorrect VAT number has been entered the customer will be contacted for correct details or further payment will be required.

Christmas/Holiday Delivery

Please note that all Christmas delivery deadlines are still subject to peripheral delivery delays and are subject to any weather related delays.

Any orders placed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day or public holidays will be dispatched on the next working day subject to stock availability.
